- I just bought a Zoom comstar model 620, two days ago. When I tried to install
- it in Windows 95, I had problems. It automatically configured my modem for
- comport 5, when it should have been set to port 2. So I was have conflicts. So
- I called tech support, which by the way was busy. So I kept hitting redial, it
- took about an hour before it finally rang. Then I was put on hold for about 15
- minutes. Once I got a hold of someone I told him my problem, and he took me
- step by step on how to solve my problem. It involved changing my settings so
- my modem would be set to com port 2. I forgot how I did it, because there was
- alot of steps he put me through. I should have taken notes. But, now my modem
- is working great, no complaints. And the bitware voice/data/fax software that
- comes with it works great too.
- So besides the fact it took a while to install my zoom comstar, I am happy
- with it. It was affordable too. Only $179.
- Bye
- Carl.
